In-house vaccination campaign against COVID-19 in our production in Lauchheim

All employees of SUMITOMO ELECTRIC Hartmetallfabrik GmbH who were willing to be vaccinated received their first vaccination against COVID-19 with the mRNA vaccine Comirnaty® from BioNTech/Pfizer on 29 June 2021. The vaccination was carried out on the company's premises in Lauchheim by the company doctor, Dr Jens Künzel.

"We are very happy that we were able to make a vaccination offer to all those who registered. Furthermore, we would like to thank each and every one of them for their high level of commitment - in this way we are increasing safety both for our workforce and for our business activities as such," says Hans Metzdorf, plant manager of our production facility, expressing his satisfaction with the company vaccination campaign.

The vaccination campaign went smoothly and the date for the second vaccination will take place in August.
